Rules
Short version: pay more, rank higher. The details are below.
How ranking works
- Each app is ranked by the total it has paid. Payments for the same app add up: if your app has $2,000 and you need $2,050, you pay $50, not $2,050 again.
- If two apps have the same total, the one that reached it first ranks higher, even if both payments went through within seconds of each other. The second one is told right away what it takes to move up.
- Getting on the board takes at least $5. After that you can add as little as $1 at a time. Amounts are whole dollars.
- Today ranks apps by what they paid since 00:00 UTC. All time adds up every payment.
- Each category has its own leaderboard, based on the app's Google Play category. The same total counts on both boards, so being #1 in your category is usually much cheaper than #1 on the whole site, and every dollar you add later still counts toward the top spot.
Taking a spot
- To take a spot, your total must reach the holder's total plus a step that grows with the price: $1 under $100, $5 up to $999, $25 up to $9,999, and $100 from $10,000. Reaching exactly the same total puts you just below it.
- A spot goes live once the payment is confirmed, usually within seconds.
- You can move your own app up at any time by adding to its total.
What can be listed
- Only apps that are public on Google Play.
- App details (name, icon, screenshots, description) are copied from Google Play when you claim.
- We may remove listings that are illegal, malware, scams, sexual content, hate, or that impersonate someone else.
Payments and refunds
- Payments are final. Being outbid is how the game works and is not a reason for a refund.
- If we remove a listing for breaking these rules, the payment is not refunded.
- If a payment goes through but your app does not appear, contact us and we will fix it or refund you.
Changes
These rules may change. Payments already made keep their amount and time.
